Professor Muhammad Yunus - Nobel Peace Prize Laureate - will grace the SOCIAL BUSINESS CONFERENCE - SWITZERLAND, Lugano 18 May at 17:00, and interact personally with participants from various walks of life as he looks to promote his concept of social business throughout the world.

Successful kick-off for the first edition of the USI Executive MBA

More than ten participants are enrolled for the first edition of the new USI Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA), a post-graduate programme taught in English and aimed in particular at managers and business professionals with more than 4 years of work experience who are interested in gaining advanced, specialised skills in business management.

This week, the first session of the programme is taking place on the Lugano campus. The participants come from numerous sectors including international organizations, industry, public utilities, financial services, airlines, telecommunications, computer software/internet, education and insurance. The students from this class each enter with between 4 and 20 years of work experience behind them, and their ages range from 25 to 45 years.

The second edition of the Executive Master, which boasts an international faculty, will take place from February  2012 to July 2013.
