HOW TO MAKE LUGANO EVEN SMARTER

The Smart City subject is complex and fascinating, and it will be one of the main areas of research and development in the coming years.

There is a need for cities to become smarter in their use of resources and in their infrastructure management to meet current and future needs of citizens and businesses.During this transformation process the activity and direct participation of individual citizens will be crucial for the implementation of decisions and measures within their cities.

Our round table will analyze the theme of the “Smart City” from a political stand-point. Urban planning and energy services will also be discussed, with a focus on the city of Lugano between past and future.When/where: @USI, Thursday 7th July, Auditorium, USI Campus Lugano
