Prof. Francesco Daveri is teaching Macroeconomics within the MBA program of SDA Bocconi and has been a visiting scholar at Harvard, LMU (Munich), EPRU (Copenaghen), ETLA (Helsinki), the Bank of France and the Bank of Italy.
His research activity is mostly concerned with the relation between policy, productivity and economic growth. His published work has appeared in various international and Italian academic journals. He also coauthored the top-selling book “Centomila punture di spillo”. “Come l’Italia può tornare a correre”, jointly written with Carlo De Benedetti e Federico Rampini (Mondadori, 2008), as well as “Innovazione cercasi” (Laterza, 2006) and “Stranieri in casa nostra. Immigrati e italiani tra lavoro e legalità” (Università Bocconi Editore, 2010).
In his non-academic professional activities, he served as a consultant to the World Bank, Italy’s Ministry of the Economy and the European Commission. He is a columnist of Corriere della Sera and the policy website LaVoce.info, as well as a speaker in company events and in the Italian media.
