CRISTIAN BISSATTINI

Cristian Bissattini was born in Locarno (Switzerland) on October 23, 1969. He holds a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico of Milan and he also attended the Executive Master in Business Administration at Università della Svizzera Italiana. Cristian has over 14 years of experience and a successful career. His background is in managing business and ICT environments in the banking industry and large complex business transformation engagements, sourcing solutions (ITO, ASP and BPO) and process reengineering. He held positions in Italy and Switzerland and visiting positions in France and Germany before joining H2O Consulting as Chief Executive Officer.

H2O Consulting is a risk analytics firm with operations in Lugano (Switzerland), specialized in Quantitative Finance, Risk Management, Behavioral Finance and Sentiment Analysis solutions.

H2O Sentiment® provides financial sentiment analysis for investors to discover, react and respond to market opinions. Financial markets are not purely rational. Emotions play a large part in stock pricing. H2O Sentiment® captures these emotions, the “animal spirits” coined by Keynes, through social media post messages. Our research (done in collaboration with Università della Svizzera italiana) provided evidence that there is strong and useful information on investor sentiment and likely stock market movements.
